Bandish Insights :
I must confess that Yaman truly took root in my heart through Malini Tai’s rendition of this very bandish. In my early years of exploring Hindustani classical music, this was the performance I returned to again and again. It was through her voice that the raga’s beauty first revealed itself to me. One of the finest performances, and deeply personal to my musical journey.
