Anecdote: The Legendary Munshi Raziuddin one of the most educated musicians of modern history performing Raag Yaman Kalyan along with his sons Fareed Ayaz & Abu Mohammad. Raag Yaman Kalyan is perhaps one of the greatest Raag of Hindustani Classical Music which is a creation of Hazrat Ameer Khusro. In this recording, Munshi Raziuddin recites two different bandish of Raag Aiman Kalyan, the first one is Harva Mora Re and the second bandish is Guru Bin Kaise Gunn Gaavein. Munshi Raziuddin being the erudite artist he was rendered this raag with perfection. Farid Ayaz in his prime in this performance his voice sounds very fresh and his alaap, sargam and taan are very soothing as he assists his father in this melodious rendition.
